Event highlights

CAGBC, in collaboration with ClimateFirst, presents a webinar exploring the new resiliency requirements introduced in LEED v5 and their growing importance amid increasing climate risks. Attendees will gain practical insights into the updated prerequisites and credits, discover how to meet them using ClimateFirst’s data-driven tools, and understand how resiliency planning enhances certification outcomes and long-term building performance. The session will also address integrating resiliency into broader compliance, decarbonization, and risk management strategies to drive greater value across real estate portfolios.

1) Recognize the urgency of climate resiliency and identify key climate risks affecting Canadian buildings.

2) Explain the new LEED v5 resiliency requirements and the tools available to assess and address climate risks.

3) Develop strategies to integrate resiliency measures into broader business, compliance, and risk management plans.
